Very sturdy steel with fiberglass grating deck has one seat but there is room for two. I built this stand probably fifteen years ago out of 1 inch and 3/4 inch 11 gauge square tubing and it is welded up good. Skirting is silicone impregnated fiberglass cloth It will last for a long time. I said all this to let you know that it is not a Chinese made lean up.
