Anthony “Eric” (Marlar) Milam was born September 16, 1967, to Joe B. Marlar and Patricia Milam. He departed from this earth on February 6, 2025.
He was preceded by his father, Joe B. Marlar and his grandparents Hilton and Edna Marlar and L.C. and Dorothy Trull.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Vicki; his children, Jennifer Saulnier (Larry) of Houston, TX, Josh Milam (Haley) of El Dorado, Jana Coke (Devon) of El Dorado; his mother, Patricia Milam (Tom Graham) of Hot Springs, AR; his siblings, Rodney Milam and Talisa Haygood (Johnny) of Hot Springs, AR; his granddaughter Tinsleigh Gray Wood of El Dorado; many nieces, nephews, and extended family and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Eric was a 1985 graduate of EHS and went to earn his degree from SAU Tech in architectural engineering and construction management. Eric also was an Eagle Scout and a talented, skilled operator and foreman for many years.
Eric lived his life to the fullest – whether it was hunting, fishing, traveling to North Carolina to aid in the restoration from the hurricanes, or just helping out his family and friends. Sharing the word and love of Jesus was also a priority. Although he had struggles in the flesh, he continued to stand firm in his faith and be the hands and feet of our Lord and Savior.
Visitation to honor Eric will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, February 10, 2025, at Young’s with family and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00pm at Young’s Funeral Home Chapel with Chad White officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers are Marc Lewis, Wade Cottrell, Ray Henley, Roger Cheshier, Derek Bell, Clint Evers, Jason Reed, and Jeff Bagley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Buddy Jackson and Bob Summerville.
Memorials may be made to Open Heart Ministries, ARM 180 Recovery Program, or Maverick Cowboy Church.
