James Edward Beeson, 64, of Junction City, AR passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 30, 1959 to Olen Preston Beeson, Sr. and Clara Elizabeth Morgan Beeson in Montgomery, AL.
He worked as foreman for Chicago Bridge and Iron before his retirement in 2019. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to Hank Williams, Jr. playing dominos and games with his family, and he was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Audrey Gail Beeson; grandson, Alex Bougher; and nephew, Rocky McDowell, Jr.
Survivors include his daughters, Rebecca Hall (William) of Junction City, Elizabeth Beeson of Austin, TX; sister, Betty Beeson of El Dorado; brothers Olen Beeson, Jr. of El Dorado, Gene Beck of Montgomery, AL; and grandchild, Alexis Bougher.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Young's Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery with Ruby Beck officiating, under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Pallbearers are William Hall, Dane Burley, Gene Beck, Cole Walker, David McDowell and Gene Brown.
