Jane Lowery Spruill, 89, of Smackover passed away October 20, 2024, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. She was born January 29, 1935, in Junction City, AR to John P. and Annie Mae Smith Lowery.
Jane worked at Smackover State Bank as an assistant Vice President for 18 years. She was also a part of the First Baptist Church located in Smackover, AR.
Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband, Billy Dean Spruill, daughters, Teresa Moses and Sharon Valentine, brothers and sisters, Preston Lowery, Gladys Spain, Barbara Parks, Laverne Bowden, and Janet Carter.
She is survived by her daughter Kathy Rowan (Mike) of Smackover, sister, Judy Corley (David) of Smackover, brother, Johnny Lowery (Donna) of Camden, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
A special thank you to her caregivers Amy Works, Lottie Preston, and Jane Clemons. The family would also like to thank Hudson Memorial Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for the care that was given to Jane.
Graveside service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Smackover Cemetery with Carly Davis officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service.
