Paul "David" Short, 71, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born on November 27, 1953 to Kenneth and Juanita May Short in El Dorado, AR.
He owned and operated his family business, Mason Plumbing, for over 40 years. Previously, he was a fireman and EMT for the City of El Dorado. David loved spending time with his family and best friend, Rick. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, playing with his dogs, gardening, and hanging out at Felsenthal.
Preceding him in death are his parents, and sister, Robin Short Conway.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Connie Short; daughter, Wendi Golmon (Landon); son, Luke Short (Amy Small); brother, Danny Short all of El Dorado; and grandsons, Dakota Short, Wesley Short, and David Golmon.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2024 at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, at Wyatt Baptist Church with Brother Adam Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
