Renee Yvette Cook, 48 of Calion, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at SARH in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Renee was born February 29, 1976 to Ronnie Lindsey and Mildred Gail Harbour in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was employed at Nexans Amercable in El Dorado, Arkansas where she held the duties of Quality Document/Maintenance Clerk. Renee attended One Community Church in El Dorado and Willow Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Calion. She enjoyed cooking, reading, watching sports and playing a round of golf on occasion. Renee loved getaways to visit her kids in Oklahoma as well as spending time with family and friends. She always thought of others before herself and was willing to offer a helping hand to those in need. Renee never backed down from a challenge and was always up for a Thelma and Lou adventure.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a special Aunt, Mildred “Sissy” Meeks.
She is survived by her husband Dwight Cook of Calion; a daughter, Lexis Cook of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; a son Jackson Cook of Stillwater, Oklahoma. One brother R.D. (Andrea) Lindsey of Roland, Oklahoma. One sister Randee (Brian) Meshell of El Dorado, Arkansas. Two nieces, Jordan Lindsey of Roland Oklahoma and Bristol Meshell of El Dorado, AR. Two nephews, Blake Lindsey and Austin Lindsey of Roland, Oklahoma.
A visitation for Renee will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Young's Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnolle, El Dorado, AR 71730.
A funeral service will occur Friday, September 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 508 Champagnolle, El Dorado, AR 71730. A committal will occur Friday, September 20, 2024 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, N Wyatt Dr, El Dorado, AR 71730.
