Sharon Johnson, age 75, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas to Woodrow F. Miller and Patricia Johnston Miller on June 14, 1949.
She attended school in El Dorado and Norphlet. After her graduation from Norphlet High School in 1967, she attended college for one year and Oilbelt Vocational School secretarial class. After being employed at
several places, she finally got a job at Shackleford, Shackleford, and Phillips law firm which she enjoyed as a legal secretary for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Charles Johnson to whom she was married 55 years, and by her son Michael Johnson of El Dorado, her brother Wayne Miller (Phyllis), her brother Roger Miller (Audree) of Sherwood, her mother-in-law Vernell Johnson, her sister-in-law Sherry Blann, her nephew, Marc Alexander (Angela), her nephew Phillip Miller (Katrina), and her loving niece, Donna Miller Farish (Dan), and numerous cousins and other relatives.
She enjoyed her family, researching family history, working cryptoquotes, cooking, traveling with her mother, and taking notes, but her ultimate love was for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her church, and teaching a Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Upchurch officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
