Thomas Wayne Stewart, 82, of El Dorado, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Courtyard Health and Rehab. He was born August 13, 1940 to George Washington Stewart and Marie Shackelford Stewart in Blevins, AR.
He was a retired from Prescolite, and was a member of the IBEW 436. A devout Christian, Thomas was a member of the First Church of God, where he ran the sound system for 56 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the United States Air Force.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Jackson Stewart; sons, Jonathan Stewart, Mark Stewart all of El Dorado; granddaughter, Madison Stewart; sisters, Kaye Overstreet (Jack) of El Dorado, Faye Frisby (Larry);and brother, Mike Jerry (Connie) both of Strong.
Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at the First Church of God with Rev. Bert Brown and Dr. James E. Seale officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers are Robin Mooney, Heather Seale Hartwell, Nicole Seale Adler, Earl Cook, Jimbo Seale, and Jarred Sweeney.
