Timothy Randall McManus, age 71 passed away suddenly on Friday, October 4, 2024 at St Francis Medical Center.
Tim was born on September 22, 1953 in Monroe, LA to William Alex and Edna Sanderson McManus.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Troy Don McManus and nephew Troy Busbice.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey McManus(Dianna) of El Dorado, AR and their children Lane, Reece, Riley, Addalyn, and Emma; His daughter Shawna Graham(Josey) of Columbia, LA and their children Jayden, Jessalyn, and Jaylee. His daughter Mindy McManus of Longview, TX and her children Demetrius and Demitreya; His Sister Tommie Jean Busbice of Calhoun, LA.; His Nephews Bill Busbice(Beth) of Olla, LA and Joey Busbice(Mona) of Morgan City, LA; And several great nieces and nephews.
Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, years of mud racing, his garden, and hard work. In more recent years, he fought his health but in that fight he found peace in seeking knowledge from the Bible and trusting the Lord with his heart. He fought cancer bravely and quietly and won that battle. He knew he wasn’t a perfect man but he was trying everyday to be better than the day before. He wanted more than anything for everyone that he loved to live a life of faith, and do that sooner in life than he did.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Lisbon Community Church Pavilion with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lisbon Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
