Vera Marie Brumley, 92 of Smackover, passed away at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 with her 3 girls (granddaughters) by her side. Born December 12, 1931 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Claude and Lula Stegall Baker. Mrs. Brumley was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bible Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death along with her parents, were her husband, John Brumley, Sr., her son, John Brumley, Jr., a grandson, John Douglas Brumley along with several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include three granddaughters, Jessica Albritton (Lee) of Camden, Jana Robertson (Adam) of El Dorado and Amanda Dison (Wess) of El Dorado along with a daughter-in-law, Elaine Brumley of El Dorado.
Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Carson Robertson, Emma Claire Robertson, Jason Knight, Jacob Knight, Isabella Dison, Lane Albritton, and Dawson Albritton (Grace) and a great-great grandchild, Cayson Albritton and a special niece, Jean Fox of Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at Smackover Cemetery with Dr. J. D. Weido officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
