Vickie Lynn Bickle, 77 of Camden passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loved one. She was born February 23, 1947 to the late Venice and Charlotte Ruth Mulligan Rushton, in Magnolia, AR. She was of the Baptist faith.
She retired from the Department of the Army as a logistician after 28 years of service. She was a graduate of Texarkana Community College with degrees in Applied Sciences and Mid Management. She was also a graduate of Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother Mamie Tims.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Bickle of Camden, a sister, Charlotte Ann Carver of Smackover, a niece, Cynthia Hastings (David) of El Dorado, a nephew, Wesley Brian Smith of Athens, TX, a great-nephew, Aaron Hastings of San Antonio, TX, great-nieces, Carly Hastings (James Walthall) of El Dorado and Paige Smith (Brian Ponder) of Norphlet, a great-great niece, a great-great nephew along with numerous cousins.
Also surviving are step-sons, Brent L. Holden (Jill) of Paso Robles, CA and, Scott A. Holden (Erin) of Atascadero, CA and grandchildren, a step-daughter, Veronica Bass Holstead (Tim) of Monroe, LA and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s’ Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Ricks Cemetery near Harrell, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
