William Franklin Dolden, 87, of Junction City, LA passed away Thursday, January 30, 20025 in Farmerville, LA. Born July 22, 1937 in Marks, Mississippi he was the son of William Andrew and Addie Adell Parrish Dolden.
Mr. Dolden was a self-employed painter and of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were a son, Jimmy Dolden; step- sons Frank Barker and Richard Barker; sisters Betty Jean Crawford and Dorothy Whitaker.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Dolden of Junction City, LA , sons; John Dolden (Angelia) of El Dorado and Harold Dolden (Donald Petry) of Boston, MA; a daughter, Rita Parrish (Greg) of Bigelow, AR along with a step-son, Robert Michael Barker (Kim) of Atlanta, GA. and 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Young's Funeral Directors. A private burial will be at a later date at Laneburg Cemetery, Laneburg, AR.
